About Azmoon

Azmoon (آزمون, Persian for “exam”) is a free, multilingual practice platform for the official exams that matter when building a life in Germany. Its first exam is the German citizenship test (Einbürgerungstest, also used as the “Leben in Deutschland” test).

The app is available in 8 languages: German, English, Persian, Turkish, Arabic, Russian, Ukrainian, and French. The exam questions themselves are carried in German, English, Persian; in the other editions you use the app in your own language and read the questions in the official German wording, with translations one tap away.

Why it exists

The official questions are published in German only, and most free practice tools are German-only too. Azmoon was built so that people can understand what they are learning while they learn the exact German wording they will see on test day — with full right-to-left support for Persian and Arabic, which almost no web-based trainer offers.

Independent — not an official service

Azmoon is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge (BAMF) or any other authority. Official information about the test — including registration and the official practice Online-Testcenter — is available at bamf.de.

Where the questions come from

The question data is built from the official BAMF Gesamtfragenkatalog (Stand 07.05.2025) through a checksum-pinned, reviewed pipeline, and every update is human-reviewed before release. Azmoon is built and maintained by Babak Rahimi.
