This page documents where Azmoon's questions come from, how answers are verified, and what is still in progress — openly, because study material for a legal test should show its sources.

The source catalogue

All questions are built from the official Gesamtfragenkatalog zum Test „Leben in Deutschland“ und zum „Einbürgerungstest“ published by the Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge (BAMF), version Stand 07.05.2025: 300 general questions plus 160 state questions (10 per Bundesland), in official wording and official option order, including all official image questions extracted from the same document. The import is pinned to the document's SHA-256 checksum, and an automated weekly check compares the published PDF against that checksum — when BAMF publishes a new version, an update is prepared and reviewed by a person before anything changes.

How answers are verified

BAMF publishes no official answer key — the public catalogue marks no correct answers. Azmoon's answers therefore have a documented, two-class provenance: answers carried over from a dataset that was audited question-by-question against authoritative facts, and answers entered editorially against the same standard (image questions verified against the official images). A final confirmation pass against BAMF's official Online-Testcenter — the only official channel that reveals correct answers — is still open. Until it closes, treat the app as a practice aid, and the Online-Testcenter as the final authority on any single answer.

Translations

German is the authoritative language (verbatim official wording). English translations are complete and hand-reviewed. Persian translations are complete and hand-authored; a native-speaker review pass is still planned before they are promoted as fully reviewed. Numbers, “Bild”-labels and German administrative proper nouns are deliberately kept recognizable so learners can match the exact answer text on the real exam sheet.

Corrections

If you find a wrong answer, a translation problem, or an outdated fact, please report it. Every report is checked against the official sources above; confirmed corrections ship with the next update and the change is noted here.
